City Hall & Plaza Hotel Elopement

The images from this workshop were very helpful for me to expand my market to NYC.
What happened
D'Arcy is a brilliant teacher and made sure that everyone felt seen and included. The elopement shoot at The Plaza was with a cis white couple, and the engagement shoot at The Met (which was changed to Central Park) was with a gay, BIPOC couple. The quality of models, location, and wardrobe was exactly as advertised: pure luxury to target high end clients. All vendors, stylists, models and participants were welcoming, used proper language, and at no point did the experience felt exploitative. D'Arcy is a brilliant teacher who meets each participant at their skill level. Bonus: she's hilarious.
There was also an added bonus opportunity where we were able to chat with the weddings editor (at the time) of a major bridal publication. That was very helpful for us to get a real understanding of what how to submit weddings in order to get published.
