To be fair, I think she was new at doing style shoots. I think there could’ve been a lot more improvement. It was really hard to get stuff because the model and host would be saying we’re gonna get back to This area later and then we would never go back to it. They had a timeline for the whole day and it really wasn’t followed. We didn’t stay within our groups. Also the person hired a permanent jewelry person and even though eight photographers were coming to the style shoot. Only six of them were allowed to get permanent jewelry which I feel like was not fair . A lot of vendor changes last minute, which is fine just gets confusing when it comes to tagging them on social media also host gave us a deadline to post the gallery within 30 days. Also, just to clarify this shoot was a pay what you can style shoot.

What happened

Style sheet was organized. It was a pay what you can styled shoot. They had a timeline and vendors however I did not know the one model that was there is also the host. I do not know if the model has any photography experience some of the set ups were not placed in good lighting for the outdoor area. Even though we had a timeline, it was not followed. Certain things got changed. I understand things happen last minute and things need to be adjusted, but it pretty much was thrown out the window for the timeline. We were splitting a two groups originally at first, but then somehow just combined into one big group and it felt like we were fighting for certain spots in the area.

Advice for the host

Have more than one model. It was really tough in the timeframe having one model changed into five different dresses. I think if we had a model of each scenery, it would help a lot and not everybody feel like they have to scramble and shoot as quick as they can to get each background
