Maegan Grendell was a fabulous host! She was so kind and welcoming, and has become someone I look up to in the photo world. The retreat itself had quality education, great boarding, awesome shoots, and enjoyable food as well! I have been twice so I clearly enjoyed it. I will say, as far as I was aware, I was the only queer attendee staying the full weekend (maybe both times, idk). This has nothing to do with how the event was ran, I think this could have a lot to do with the demographic in the SLC area. Nonetheless, I felt safe, welcomed, and made plenty of connections. I am pretty chatty and do not withhold info about my relationship lol, and didn't feel any bad vibes. The friendships I have made are super solid and we all keep in touch. If you are considering going, I recommend!

Just more POC and Queer models! Especially couples

Creative Co was a great experience for photographers of any experience level! You leave feeling so refreshed and inspired with so many new photographer friends as well as content! The experience I had at Creative Co is one I will cherish forever.

Maegan is the best in the world and the environment was so comfortable for me being the only dude at the first one in 2024, still talk with most of the girls regularly and love seeing them continue to grow their businesses!

Maegan is a creative genius. Learning from her will absolutely change the way you take photos and look at your work. Her concepts are incredible and will be nothing like what you’ve seen before

I have no advice! Maegan did a wonderful job and everything flowed really well. All of the concepts exceeded my expectations
