I know investing in a retreat can feel like a big leap, but Mariah truly thinks of everything. The Airbnbs are always sooo gorgeous, unique, and feel like a luxury vacation instead of just a place to sleep. They're always stocked with snacks, drinks, and everything you could need, which is such a thoughtful touch after long shoot days.
She's one of the kindest, most welcoming hosts I've ever met (and ive been to a lot). She's fun, receptive to feedback, incredibly fair, and I've never once felt like she plays favorites or leaves anyone out. Whether you're brand new or a seasoned pro, she makes everyone feel included.
I have never once regretted booking one. If anything, I always leave wondering how she's going to outdo herself next time.
What happened
I've gone to almost every retreat Mariah has hosted (I think 9 out of 11 😅), and somehow every retreat is better than the last.
The models are always SO fun, professional, and different. I feel like so many retreats end up using the same couples over and over, but you can tell Mariah puts so much effort into finding fresh faces and unique couples every single time.
The hair and makeup artists usually stay onsite which helps so much with the flow of the day. She also takes and edits headshots for attendees, which is sooo fun!!
You can tell she takes so much pride in creating an amazing experience and finding incredible vendors, and it really shows. Nothing ever feels thrown together or like an afterthought. Every dress, outfit, and location feels intentionally chosen to create a cohesive, elevated experience.
