She's amazing. I just love her positivity and creativity. She really puts her all into the shoots and eduction. If you have been to one retreat her education doesn't change to much though.

I would highly recommend attending Shanessa's retreats. Having been to two of her retreats now, she is the one host I continually return to because her events truly deliver on every single promise.

Her retreat in St. George was an incredible experience from start to finish. Even as a lower budget retreat focused primarily on education, it was so worth the money, and Shanessa went above and beyond for all of us. She even surprised us with extra touches like custom merch and comprehensive physical workbooks. Even with the lower budget shoot setups, everything was remarkably well thought out and featured great models. Over the course of the trip, we visited stunning locations including Zion, Bryce Canyon, and two state parks across Utah and the St. George area. We paid for six shoots and she even generously gave us a seventh bonus shoot. All of the elopements and couple sessions were meticulously planned, executing the exact aesthetic and vision she advertised.

What sets Shanessa apart is her genuine commitment to education. Rather than using the retreat for her own platform, she openly breaks down her backend business processes and shares actionable information that genuinely helped me grow. While the content is slightly more tailored toward newer photographers, the sheer depth of knowledge she shares makes it invaluable. If you are looking for a host who is honest, organized, generous, and truly invested in her attendees, Shanessa's retreats are 100000% worth the investment!!!
